Guardian Caps, a sports safety equipment company specializing in protective helmet padding, needed marketing materials to demonstrate their widespread adoption and credibility in the athletic market. During my time as a graphic design apprentice at See.Spark.Go, I was tasked with creating email graphics that would showcase Guardian Caps' reach across professional, collegiate, and high school athletics. The company needed a compelling visual proof point that would reinforce their industry leadership and build trust with potential institutional buyers.

Challenge
Simply stating usage statistics doesn't have the same impact as visualizing them. Guardian Caps needed a way to make their impressive adoption numbers—100,000+ athletes, 2,000+ high schools, 200+ colleges, and 32 NFL teams—immediately understandable and credible. The design had to organize complex geographic and institutional data into a clear, scannable format while maintaining visual appeal. Additionally, the graphics needed to be optimized for email viewing across both mobile and desktop devices without losing clarity or impact.
Objective
The goal was to create data-driven infographics that would serve as powerful visual proof points in email marketing campaigns. This included designing a national map showcasing athletic programs using Guardian Caps and graphics highlighting top-performing divisions and schools. The designs required strong visual hierarchy to make information immediately digestible, with clear differentiation between professional teams, colleges, and high schools through strategic use of logos, color-coding, and layout structure.
Results
The Guardian Caps email graphics successfully visualized the company's national reach and market penetration, transforming raw data into compelling visual storytelling. The map and division graphics provided immediate credibility by showing recognizable school and team logos, making Guardian Caps' industry leadership tangible and trustworthy. The mobile-optimized designs ensured seamless viewing across all devices, supporting the company's B2B marketing efforts to athletic departments and sports programs nationwide.
